Harrow House Sponsors Local Jurassic Coast Trust Project

As part of our commitment to promoting the importance of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site and conserving it for future generations, Harrow House is proud to have become a Project Sponsor of the Jurassic Coast Trust.  This year we have supported Stony Bones, one of the Jurassic Coast Trust's exciting new community education projects designed specially for the school children of Swanage.

Harrow House became a Project Sponsor because we as a company understand how important it is to protect the coast and are proud of our location on the Jurassic Coast.  We are keen to raise its profile amongst all our visitors from the UK and our international students.  We believe the brilliant Stony Bones Project is a fantastic way of not only teaching our local children more about the Jurassic Coast but also communicating its importance to the local community and visitors through the children's creation of a permanent display of banners in the Square.

The Jurassic Coast Trust was founded in 2002 and is strongly focused on helping people understand and enjoy the site.  They work with partners to support a diverse range of education, conservation, arts and science projects along the length of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.  To find out more about their education and conservation objectives and how they raise money through different levels of support, please visit the Jurassic Coast Trust's website.

Jurassic Coast Quality Business Badge

Harrow House has taken part in the new Jurassic Coast Quality Business Scheme and we are proud to report that we have been awarded the Quality Business Badge!

The Jurassic Coast Quality Business Scheme has been designed to enhance the visitor experience to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site and requires participating businesses to demonstrate a high standard of business practice and their lasting commitment to the future of the Jurassic Coast.  Those businesses which successfully illustrate a range of good business practices are then awarded the Quality Business Badge.

Wherever you see the Quality Business Badge, you can be assured that the business values customer service, invests in its staff, works with the local community and supports a shared vision for the coast.
